The Business School is a legal entity having been registered with the deeds registry and subject to statutory obligations as a privately owned sole proprietorship. The College has legal standing in the eyes of the law and the capacity to enter into contracts, agreements, debts etc., and to be held responsible for its actions. The Business School was incorporated on the 22nd April 2015 as a private limited company.
The College offers a wide range of programmes within the five faculties of Business, Accountancy, Management, Project Management, Marketing, Information Technology and Specialized Training.
The various courses are offered on a part-time basis. Part-time programmes are designed for individuals upgrading their certification, and for individuals embarking on a career in Business, Accountancy, Management, Project Management, Marketing, Information Technology and Specialized Training.
Our corporate training caters to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, and aims to increase the productivity of general, supervisory and managerial staff within the private and public sectors.
The College aims to provide a high quality educational experience for all enrolled students. The college’s Board of Governors, the quality assurance committee, our quality improvement unit and the management committee ensure the integrity of the college’s programmes.
The college is conveniently situated in the heart of the Garden City of Georgetown, Guyana. Our location at 43 Brickdam, Stabroek is comprised of a large modern building which is conducive for learning and scholarship. The facilities of The College are designed to foster student learning, the quality of the programmes, and the overall teaching learning process.
The college is recognized internationally as a center for learning, and the teaching of democratic principles and values. Our staff is highly qualified, experienced, and trained, and is regarded as serious educators.
